Kay has served in the Utah House of Representatives for 10 years and is in the beginning of his 6th 2-year term.
He has served on the following House Standing Committees: Public utilities, Energy & Technology, Natural Resources, Revenue and Taxation and is currently the Chair of Transportation.
He has also served on these House Appropriations Subcommittees: Natural Resources, and Infrastructure, & General Government.
Kay has served in the Federalism Commission, and the Free Market Protection & Privatization Committee.
Representative Christofferson is a Registered Professional Civil Engineer, involved in building roads, utilities, transit lines, and site improvements during his career.
He is married to Suzanne Duncan and has 7 children and 14 grandchildren.
