State Rep. Phil Green was first elected in November 2018. He currently serves the 67th Michigan House District, which covers portions of Genesee, Lapeer and Tuscola counties.

Phil serves on the House Appropriations committee, which handles the state budget. He also serves as the Republican vice chair on the Health and Human Services Appropriations subcommittee and as a member on the Military and Veterans Affairs and State Police and School Aid and Education Appropriations subcommittees.

Currently Green is the Chair of the American Legislative Exchange Council’s Energy, Environment and Agriculture Committee. He is also a board member for the Michigan Coalition for Responsible Gun Owners and the Chair of the 2nd Amendment Caucus for the 102nd Legislature. Green is an ordained minister obtaining his bachelor’s degree in Youth Ministries and his master’s degree in Biblical Expositions from Pensacola Christian College.
